Responsibilities
- Evaluate existing and prospective markets with a conceptual scope to inform strategic direction.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of both technical and business environments.
- Contribute to the development and articulation of strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Integrate abstract products into a market-focused portfolio of offerings.
- Manage the portfolio as a product, including business planning, positioning, buying process, market requirements, and a marketing plan.
- Analyze market data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Derive strategic direction from market information and prepare compelling market analysis presentations.
- Assess needs within targeted markets and analyze market segmentations.
- Recommend which market segment(s) to actively pursue.
- Drive the growth process across the portfolio.
- Collaborate with the management team and other marketing functions (product marketing, product management, MarCom) to ensure marketing activities effectively support strategic goals.
- Oversee the creation of abstract product strategies that align with Applied Materials products.
- Support the vision and milestones for deliverables of abstract products.
- Own responsibility for the portfolio of products.
