Job Description

Rising Stars is seeking a Social Media Marketing Specialist to strengthen its online presence and promote its Social Care Network (SCN) program. This onsite role in Suffern, NY focuses on strategy, content creation, and campaign management across multiple social channels.

You will help build consistent brand communication, grow awareness and engagement, and support visibility for SCN, along with marketing assistance for additional programs such as EI and Peer Support.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and manage social media marketing strategies across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
  • Create and manage social media campaigns designed to increase awareness, engagement, and program visibility.
  • Produce engaging content such as posts, graphics, videos, reels, and other digital assets.
  • Maintain a consistent posting cadence and support an ongoing, professional social media presence.
  • Write engaging captions and create promotional content and marketing materials.
  • Monitor social media trends to identify opportunities to improve engagement and reach.
  • Track performance for campaigns and social content, then make adjustments based on results.
  • Promote the company’s SCN program and assist with marketing additional programs including EI and Peer Support.
  • Collaborate with management and teammates to develop marketing ideas and campaign initiatives.
  • Help ensure a consistent and professional brand image across all social media platforms.

What you bring

  • Experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, content creation, or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of major social platforms and current social media trends.
  • Experience creating engaging digital content, including graphics and short-form videos.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Creativity and strong organization, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Healthcare or social services experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of programs such as SCN, EI, or Peer Support is a plus, but not required.
