  • Develop channel forecasts and identify trends, improvement areas, and growth opportunities based on industry trends, technological advancements, attribution tracking, and regulatory changes affecting marketing programs.
  • Promote ongoing innovation through experimentation, including A/B testing, exploring new formats, and piloting conversion strategies.

Requirements

  • Content experience in consumer-facing (B2C) organizations, with a meaningful portion in consumer financial services such as banking, lending, fintech, insurance, wealth management, or adjacent sectors (e.g., NerdWallet, Credit Karma, BankRate).
  • Editorial background that includes writing clearly and concisely, editing others without losing their voice, and understanding what makes content worth reading.
  • Demonstrated SEO and AIO expertise, including keyword research, search optimization, and evidence via rankings.
  • Comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment, managing workload and deadlines without extensive hand-holding.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console) and content management systems.
  • Experience using analytics to measure content effectiveness and optimize programs over time.
  • Familiarity with financial services compliance and regulatory considerations, including required disclosures, fair lending language, and FINRA/SEC communication standards.
  • A portfolio of published financial services content that demonstrates range and quality.
  • Growth mindset with a data-driven and creative approach, plus a record of delivering strong business outcomes.
