Sales and Marketing Manager

Western Carriage Company is seeking a part-time Sales and Marketing Manager based in Mesa, AZ for a hybrid role focused on driving bookings for horse-drawn western carriage weddings and special events throughout the Phoenix area.

Role Overview

This position supports the company’s goal of generating 50+ bookings per year. You will manage the sales process from inquiry through booking, expand referral partnerships across the wedding industry, and handle core marketing activities including social media and business listings. You will also track leads and results to evaluate performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Book weddings and special events with a target of 50+ bookings per year
• Respond to inquiries quickly, send quotes, and close bookings
• Develop referral partnerships with venues, wedding planners, photographers, and florists
• Create and post content on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
• Manage listings on The Knot, WeddingWire, and Google Business
• Represent the company at bridal shows and wedding expos
• Track leads and bookings and report results

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in weddings, events, hospitality, or luxury services
• Demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Experience managing business social media accounts
• Strong communication and closing skills, both in person and online
• Self-directed and organized, with the ability to work independently
• Existing wedding industry connections preferred
• Interest in horses or western style is a plus

Compensation and Work Details

• Job type: Part-time, flexible schedule
• Base pay: $68,897.09 - $77,134.74 per year
• Commission structure: 30% per booked event (average booking $2,000)
• Bonuses: Performance bonuses
• Commission: Uncapped; additional bookings increase earnings
