Regional Marketing & Outreach Coordinator
Job Description
OptimuMedicine is seeking a Regional Marketing & Outreach Coordinator to help grow the regional air ambulance program in Hawaii. The role blends business development with targeted marketing to expand referrals, secure contracts, and raise awareness among hospitals, trauma centers, EMS agencies, and health systems. This onsite position in Honolulu offers a salary range of USD 65,000 to 75,000 per year and requires at least three years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new partnerships with hospitals, trauma centers, health systems, EMS agencies, and other referral sources.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers such as ED leadership, trauma program leadership, EMS chiefs, and case management leaders.
- Conduct regular outreach visits, deliver presentations, and lead educational sessions on air medical transport capabilities and appropriate use.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective accounts and monitor progress toward growth targets.
- Participate in negotiating service agreements and contribute to RFP responses when required.
- Assist with developing and executing an annual marketing and communications plan aligned with growth goals.
- Assist with content creation for the website, social media, email campaigns, brochures, and educational materials.
- Plan and execute community outreach events, health fairs, and participation in regional EMS and healthcare conferences.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and referral patterns to identify new opportunities.
- Work closely with operations, clinical, and finance teams to align business development efforts with operational capacity.
- Represent the program at industry events and association meetings.
Requirements
- Three to five plus years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, with healthcare or B2B exposure preferred.
- Proven track record of building partnerships and driving measurable growth.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Solid understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and referral patterns.
- Ability and willingness to travel regionally, typically 40–60% of the time.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
