Job Description
The Hotaling Group offers a hybrid role in Melville, NY with a competitive USD 85,000 – 110,000 per year. Join a dynamic, growth‑minded marketing team dedicated to private client new business, collaborating closely with Account Managers, Account Executives, and Producers to craft tailored coverage strategies that align with client needs.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate with multiple insurance carriers to assemble comprehensive coverage options for prospects while ensuring compliance with industry laws and regulations.
- Involve practice specialists as needed throughout the business development process to effectively manage prospect risk exposure.
- Collaborate with Producers to grow and expand referral sources.
- Apply techniques from sales training and regularly refine skills to drive performance.
- Utilize the Epic system to complete funnel tracking and other internal information reports.
- Enter and maintain all account information accurately and in a timely manner within the Epic System.
- Ensure regulatory requirements are met and adhere to internal policies and procedures.
- Prepare Hotaling Proposals.
- Assist Producers in presenting proposals when needed.
- Review and interpret carrier contract language to deliver optimal client coverage recommendations.
- Complete all assigned tasks and duties.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of agency management software, insurance rating software, and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with PURE, AIG, Chubb, Cincinnati, and Berkley One.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment.
- Team oriented and capable of working within a collaborative setting.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience preferred.
- Self-directed with the ability to manage and complete duties independently.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
- Prepare Hotaling Proposals and assist Producers in presenting proposals when needed.
- Review and interpret carrier contract language to guide optimal client coverage decisions.
