Job Description
Leviton Manufacturing offers a hybrid role in Melville, NY, supporting product development and launch as well as after-launch marketing activities tied to sales, specifications, and channel work. You will collaborate across internal teams and channel partners while helping strengthen the marketing infrastructure and go-to-market communications that support division strategy. The position comes with a $60,000 to $80,000 per year salary range and benefits designed to support your wellbeing and long-term planning.
What you’ll do
- Conduct market research for assigned segment(s), identifying and interpreting key industry trends, including spending, technology, and applications.
- Spot and pursue communication opportunities through trade organizations and shows, publications, meetings, and conferences.
- Update and improve marketing infrastructure, which may include a database system and Leviton internal and external website(s).
- Contribute as a project team member to review operational processes and implement new efficiencies.
- Support the development and design of marketing literature and collateral, including catalogs, brochures, bulletins, product specification sheets, advertisements, general public relations materials, and letters.
- Coordinate graphic production or proposals, projects, and marketing literature when needed.
- Work closely with internal business units to manage monthly launch communications and maintain awareness of the working status for assigned projects.
- Ensure all developed collateral follows brand and identity guidelines.
- Work with key accounts to ensure electronic communications are received.
- Oversee electronic banner ad development and web communications with channel partners.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- BA in Marketing or Business Administration.
- Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with contractors, distributors, specifiers, sales management, and manufacturer’s representatives, with strong communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with Product Management and Marketing Communications to develop differentiated marketing and selling tools.
- Capacity to create new ideas and develop tactical plans that support division strategy.
- Skill in crafting messages and communication vehicles for the target audience.
- Strong creativity and resourcefulness, including independence and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to develop and execute creative solutions to assigned tasks.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint, plus familiarity with graphic software.
