Job Description

The China Institute of America is seeking a Part-Time Marketing Coordinator and Content Creator to join its New York team. This role blends video production, graphic design, and bilingual communication to support social media, website, email, and promotional campaigns, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines on-site collaboration with remote work. The position emphasizes strong visual storytelling and a knack for trends across English and Chinese audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Create and edit short form videos for social platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Design graphics and marketing materials for digital and print channels.
  • Produce basic motion graphics and animations to bolster campaigns.
  • Support social media content creation, scheduling, and event coverage.
  • Adapt content for English and Chinese audiences when needed.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on creative projects and promotional campaigns.

Requirements

  • Experience editing short form social media videos.
  • Proficiency in design and video editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and content creation.
  • Authorized to work in the United States with valid U.S. work authorization.
  • Available to work at least three days per week.

Compensation & Schedule
