Marketing Manager Programs
Job Description
Medline Industries is hiring a Marketing Manager to implement and manage marketing plans across multiple sales division market segments. This onsite role in Northfield, IL supports sales programming through communications, enablement materials, and cross-functional initiatives that help drive field adoption.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead multiple projects from concept through execution by creating project plans, defining key milestones, managing timelines, and using dashboards and planning tools to maintain visibility and delivery alignment to business priorities.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of sales programming, including office hours, meetings, training programs, contests, and incentive initiatives. Analyze results, identify trends, measure ROI, and recommend improvements to increase field adoption, business impact, and sales growth.
- Convert sales and marketing priorities into field-ready programs and learning experiences by partnering with Product Divisions, Training, Compliance, Sales Operations, and other stakeholders to support execution, accountability, and organizational alignment.
- Serve as a strategic connector across Sales Leadership, partner functions, and the field. Communicate progress, manage stakeholder expectations, and influence outcomes without direct authority.
- Develop and execute an annual communications and sales programming strategy that supports sales meetings, training initiatives, and virtual engagement, including facilitation of training and presentations as needed.
- Create and manage content and sales enablement materials, including presentations and field-facing sales tools, to support key programs and initiatives.
- Design scalable processes, planning frameworks, and best practices that improve operational efficiency, stakeholder alignment, and program consistency across Sales Offices and partner functions.
- Collect field feedback and Voice of the Field insights to refine programs, improve relevance, and support behavior change that strengthens customer conversations and business results.
- Provide training and change management support for new processes, tools, and programs for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of marketing, product management, project management, or sales experience.
- Understanding of customer and field sales needs, with the ability to translate insights into programs that drive sales growth and business outcomes.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently while balancing competing priorities and stakeholder needs.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Divisions, Operations, Training, and other partner functions.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience measuring program effectiveness, interpreting data, and providing data-driven recommendations.
- Ability to influence stakeholders, facilitate alignment, and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Experience developing and delivering presentations, training programs, and field-facing communications.
- Self-starter with strong organization, project management, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Teams, and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification or pursuit of certification.
- Experience working in a matrix organization and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Experience developing, executing, and measuring large-scale sales meetings, training programs, or commercial initiatives.
- Proficiency with project management platforms (Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, Wrike, Workfront, etc.).
- Experience using program metrics, survey results, and business performance data to evaluate effectiveness and support continuous improvement.
