Job Description

Mountain Top Resort, onsite in Chittenden, VT, is hiring a Marketing Manager to lead digital marketing and elevate the resort’s brand across channels. The role offers an hourly rate of $29 to $32 and a benefits package that includes a 401(k), employee discount, and paid time off. The four-season destination combines mountain and lake views with features like a full-service spa and salon, an equestrian center, a Nordic center, tennis courts, a private beach, boating, and inviting lodging. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns that leverage SEO, social media, email, and performance marketing to boost brand visibility, online bookings, and wedding/event RFP responses.
  • Oversee content creation for websites, blogs, social channels, and promotional materials using Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop on the current CMS; familiarity with other CMS platforms is a plus.
  • Improve website content for SEO and conversion through keyword research, optimization techniques, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ads.
  • Manage paid media campaigns on Facebook Ads and Google Ads to maximize reach and return on investment.
  • Regularly review digital marketing performance metrics to refine strategies, employing analytics tools including Google Analytics and SQL for data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain consistent branding across channels and manage social media scheduling tools for engaging posts on Facebook, Instagram, and beyond.
  • Handle additional paid media channels and evergreen partnerships with publications for print and digital ad space, including local newspaper ads and sponsored Instagram posts.
  • Implement marketing automation to streamline email campaigns and lead nurturing that convert prospects into guests.
  • Represent the resort at local and regional conferences.
  • Produce weekly reporting on organic media performance, including Earned Media Value metrics.
  • Support Gift Shop and Activities Center teams with inventory, wholesale, and branded merchandise processes.
  • Continuously generate ideas for the gift shop, front desk, and other guest touchpoints to create memorable experiences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in digital marketing with a focus on SEO, SEM, social media management, and content creation.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience working with WordPress or other content management systems.
  • Excellent copywriting skills tailored for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns using conversion optimization techniques.
  • A proactive team player with strong project management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, Digital Marketing, or Hospitality Management is a plus.
