Responsibilities

• Independently lead the development of a strategy for a specified market, including responsibility for product portfolio and customer pipeline
• Utilize consumer insight and retailer trends to define market space positioning
• Work independently using subject matter expertise to manage complex processes and market spaces
• Recognize customer and market needs and how they impact the defined market space
• Co-lead, support, and execute consistent value-added customer interactions
• Provide leadership to managers and may also lead supervisors and/or professional staff
• Set the annual operating plan for the designated market in collaboration with Sales and Operations
• Provide commercial leadership of the assigned Plant Profit Team
• Travel approximately 30% of the time

Requirements

• A four-year college degree or equivalent experience with emphasis on marketing, economics, business administration, finance, or engineering preferred
• 5 to 10 years of commercial experience with scope and responsibility defined by prior experience and growth within the role
• Preferred: Flexible Packaging or similar industry experience
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
• SAP experience preferred
