Responsibilities
- Independently lead the development of a strategy for a specified market, including responsibility for product portfolio and customer pipeline
- Utilize consumer insight and retailer trends to define market space positioning
- Work independently using subject matter expertise to manage complex processes and market spaces
- Recognize customer and market needs and how they impact the defined market space
- Co-lead, support, and execute consistent value-added customer interactions
- Provide leadership to managers and may also lead supervisors and/or professional staff
- Set the annual operating plan for the designated market in collaboration with Sales and Operations
- Provide commercial leadership of the assigned Plant Profit Team
- Travel approximately 30% of the time
Requirements
- A four-year college degree or equivalent experience with emphasis on marketing, economics, business administration, finance, or engineering preferred
- 5 to 10 years of commercial experience with scope and responsibility defined by prior experience and growth within the role
- Preferred: Flexible Packaging or similar industry experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
- SAP experience preferred
