Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator Apprentice provides operational and administrative support for the PACIFICPOINTS loyalty program and associated marketing partnerships, including FleetPlus. The role supports account management, partner and customer acquisition, loyalty operations, and cross-functional coordination to drive retail growth and enhance the customer experience. This onsite position is based in Tamuning, Guam.

Compensation

Hourly rate: USD 15 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations and coordination of the PACIFICPOINTS loyalty program and the PACIFICPOINTS FleetPlus segment, including campaigns, promotions, and member engagement activities.
  • Assist with account management tasks, including onboarding new PACIFICPOINTS FleetPlus accounts and maintaining precise account records.
  • Support the sourcing and coordination of points awarding and redemption partners to enable expansion of the loyalty program and partnerships.
  • Address inquiries and concerns from members, partners, and customers, ensuring timely resolution and high customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal support teams and external vendors to streamline loyalty program processes and enhance the customer experience.
  • Prepare and coordinate marketing communications, promotional assets, and campaign support to ensure timely deployment across channels and on-site retail locations.
  • Support loyalty system operations, including generating reports, maintaining databases, monitoring systems, and conducting business user testing for related applications.
  • Help prepare training materials and assist with training sessions covering PACIFICPOINTS programs, promotions, and system processes.
  • Monitor and maintain documentation for loyalty operations, partnerships, marketing initiatives, and operational reporting.
  • Support the development of partnership opportunities, co-marketing arrangements, and collaborative campaigns that drive retail growth.
  • Perform additional operational, administrative, and marketing tasks as assigned to support business objectives and program development.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of marketing principles, customer loyalty programs, and partnership management.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, social media, and customer engagement tools.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, reporting tools, and database management.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication for partner and customer interactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain records, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business partners.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to loyalty systems, operational processes, and marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to provide professional customer support while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in handling records and reports.
  • US citizen or resident alien.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Has been a resident of Guam for at least 3 consecutive years prior to program entry.
  • Mayor's verification must be submitted upon hire.
  • Must be able to attend at least two classes per semester while working 40 hours per week.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with computers and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities. However, it interfaces with IP&E staff and contractors in Guam, Saipan, and Palau.

Occasional travel may be required based on operational needs.
