Job Description

This in-person marketing role supports prospective and/or current owners at resort locations by coordinating sales preview experiences, qualifying guests, and guiding qualified customers to complete the sales process in line with company policies and performance expectations.

Location and Work Setting

  • Blaine, WA (onsite)
  • Travel: No travel required outside the home site’s area

Compensation

  • Hourly pay: USD 17 to 19 per hour
  • Training period rate: $19.13 per hour during the initial training period
  • Base reference: $17.13 per hour
  • Incentive earnings: reasonably ranging from $11,500 to $76,500 annually, based on individual performance and site targets
  • Incentive timing: components of incentive compensation are paid weekly for this role
  • Performance note: incentive earnings may be above or below the stated range depending on performance

Summary of the Role

Work directly with guests within resort environments to schedule meetings with a representative for a sales preview and to guide qualified customers to attend a sales presentation. The position combines guest-facing communication with screening, reservation management, and adherence to compliance, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure
  • Partner with resort staff to receive arrival sheets of guests checking in
  • Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour
  • Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines
  • Make sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits
  • Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales presentation in accordance with company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance goals (80% time)
  • Attend scheduled training sessions and department meetings; stay current on marketing information and materials and industry trends
  • Set and review performance goals on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis (20% time)

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Maintain production standards
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment within a shared space
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and general computer skills and smart devices
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Experience

  • Sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required (1 to 3 years preferred, not required)
  • Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement
