Job Description

Minuteman Press Uptown is hiring a Marketing and Sales Manager to help grow new business and strengthen relationships with current customers. This onsite role in Minneapolis, MN blends marketing planning, sales leadership, and social media execution to increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and support measurable revenue goals.

You will coordinate campaigns across multiple channels, guide sales activity, and use performance insights to continuously improve lead management and outcomes.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and deliver annual and quarterly marketing and sales plans aligned to company revenue goals.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute campaigns across email, social media, digital advertising, print, direct mail, events, and community outreach.
  • Own the company’s social media strategy and maintain a content calendar, including creation, scheduling, and publishing of brand-consistent content.
  • Track and respond to social engagement, including messages, comments, and reviews, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Research and define target audiences, industries, and prospective customers to focus sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Create strategies for generating new leads, converting prospects, and expanding business with existing customers.
  • Set measurable campaign goals and track leads, conversions, engagement, sales activity, and ROI.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, community organizations, referral partners, and prospective clients.
  • Lead and support the sales team by setting goals, monitoring activity, coaching, and helping remove obstacles to closing.
  • Coordinate with the graphic design team to create sales tools and marketing collateral, including presentations, proposals, brochures, email content, and other assets.
  • Monitor website performance and KPIs, recommending improvements to increase traffic, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Research market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and new business opportunities.
  • Support the development and promotion of new products, services, programs, and customer campaigns.
  • Develop and manage the marketing and sales budget to ensure resources are used effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, follow-up activity, campaign results, and sales progress.
  • Prepare regular marketing, sales, and social media performance reports for leadership.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve marketing, lead-management, and sales processes.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in marketing, sales, business development, social media management, or a related leadership role.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns and sales plans.
  • Strong understanding of lead generation, customer acquisition, relationship management, and sales follow-up.
  • Experience managing business social media accounts, content calendars, audience engagement, and performance reporting.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong project-management and organizational abilities to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Experience using social media platforms, email marketing tools, website analytics, CRM systems, and other marketing technology.
  • Ability to interpret performance data and apply insights to future campaigns and sales activity.
  • Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to provide direction, accountability, training, and support to sales and marketing team members.
  • Experience in commercial printing, direct mail, business-to-business sales, nonprofit organizations, political campaigns, or community engagement is a plus.

Pay and schedule

  • Salary: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
  • Work location: In person
  • Schedule availability: full-time, in person, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Minneapolis location
