Job Description

The Marketing Advisor will shape and execute marketing and branding initiatives for Compass agents, delivering strategic plans and coordinating creative deliverables from concept to execution. This onsite role is based in Boulder, Colorado.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing, high level client service by meeting with customers daily to identify marketing needs, craft strategic plans, and help execute initiatives efficiently to meet those goals.
  • Offer guidance and white glove service to customers, ensuring a premium experience.
  • Understand the Compass advantage and act as an advocate for the platform.
  • Understand and communicate the value of products, tools, and programs to customers, tailoring responses to specific marketing needs.
  • Develop strategic marketing plans in partnership with the Compass platform to maximize budget effectiveness across branding, print, digital, social, direct mail, video, paid media, and related tactics to grow the customer’s business.
  • Organize and assemble templated creative work such as print ads and brochures using InDesign for timely delivery.
  • Serve as the liaison between the design team and agents to coordinate large projects and all related materials, ensuring alignment between the Compass brand and agents' marketing deliverables.
  • Deliver memorable experiences for customers through personalized notes and proactive, targeted marketing strategies.
  • Analyze and optimize customers' marketing plans to inform future strategies and exceed expectations.
  • Collaborate with advertising and media vendors to secure agent advertising spend allocations and opportunities for the local Compass brand.
  • Monitor national and local real estate market trends and industry forecasts.
  • Foster relationships with customers to build a sense of community and culture.

Requirements

  • Two to five years of marketing experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and manage relationships empathetically and handle objections.
  • Solid understanding of marketing strategy and planning, capable of identifying effective tactics across multiple channels.
  • Excellent project management with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently with ownership of accounts while collaborating within a team to promote best practices.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and high level of organization.
  • Comfort with a fast paced environment, evolving responsibilities, and wearing multiple hats.
  • Interest in the intersection of marketing and technology and the ability to articulate its benefits.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign.
  • Previous experience in the real estate industry is preferred.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this role ranges from USD 68,000 to 72,000, with the exact figure depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, the package may include bonuses and restricted stock units, together with a full range of benefits. Base pay is aligned to market location, and the stated minimum wage will be met.
