Job Description
This on-site Vice President role leads lifecycle and performance marketing for EquityZen, a Morgan Stanley subsidiary, in New York, NY. The position drives user acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization across the platform, with responsibility for designing automated lifecycle journeys, overseeing paid media, and aligning martech and analytics to optimize CAC and LTV. The salary range is $110,000 - $190,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine automated lifecycle journeys in HubSpot to engage investors and shareholders from activation through retention, monetization, and deeper engagement.
- Oversee the full performance marketing program for EquityZen, directing paid user acquisition campaigns across search (Google Ads, Bing) and paid social channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) in collaboration with the WM Media team.
- Assist in integrating EquityZen's martech stack with Morgan Stanley systems.
- Oversee paid media budgets, continually optimizing bidding, audience targeting, and channel mix to reduce CAC and increase LTV.
- Perform rigorous A/B and multivariate tests on email campaigns, paid media creatives, ad copy, and landing pages to lift conversion rates and improve unit economics.
- Create and maintain performance dashboards using Google Analytics, Tableau, and Mixpanel to deliver actionable insights to leadership.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Content, and UX teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience from first ad click through post-investment communications.
- Oversee and scale affiliate marketing programs via Impact, monitoring partner performance and payout efficiency.
- Work with Compliance to ensure all paid media and lifecycle campaigns comply with financial services regulations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in performance, growth, or lifecycle marketing, ideally within financial services, FinTech, or a regulated B2C environment.
- Proficiency with Google Ads and Google Analytics, and hands-on experience with lifecycle marketing automation platforms; HubSpot is strongly preferred, with Salesforce also relevant.
- Strong track record building performance reports and using product analytics or data visualization tools such as Mixpanel, Tableau, and Excel or Google Sheets.
- Solid understanding of marketing to affluent or high-net-worth individuals, with a foundational grasp of private markets or B2B marketing dynamics.
- Proven ability to manage sizable paid media budgets and scale customer acquisition across multiple digital channels.
- Analytical, data-driven mindset capable of translating complex campaign data into strategic actions.
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills to partner effectively with Product, Revenue, and external agencies or paid media partners.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple high-impact campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
- Track record of martech integration and transitions.
