Leasing & Marketing Manager

The Collier Companies is seeking a Leasing & Marketing Manager to support an on-site rental community in Tallahassee, FL. In this role, you will lead day-to-day leasing and marketing efforts, help prospects find the right apartment home, and coordinate the leasing team’s weekly schedule while ensuring resident concerns are addressed through to resolution.

What you’ll be doing

• Implement the community marketing plan and promote the property through on-site activity
• Greet customers with a friendly, courteous attitude and answer the telephone with an appropriate greeting
• Schedule appointments and show apartment homes to prospects, explaining key features and benefits
• Collect apartment home applications and conduct credit checks on applicants
• Develop a weekly schedule for Leasing Specialists
• Deliver notices and maintain organized, well-prepared work areas
• Prepare and sign leasing agreements for renewing and new residents
• Assist in preparing apartment homes for re-rental at any time
• Pass out fliers to promote the community and cross-market to other communities within The Collier Companies
• Take ownership of resident problems or concerns and follow through with resolution
• Open and close the office and showings, including straightening and cleaning the office area and apartment homes
• Support renewal parties, residential appreciation parties, or other special community functions
• Ensure models, mini models, or other show units are in top condition for prospective renters
• Support additional duties as responsibilities may change due to community needs, market changes, or seasonal demands

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (college education preferred)
• Experience in retail, sales, or customer service
• Fair Housing and legal knowledge
• Ability to read, write, see, hear, communicate, and use mathematical skills
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English
• Strong reasoning, interpersonal, and appropriate telephone skills
• Management or leadership abilities
• Tactful, mature, flexible, and cooperative approach
• Ability to take initiative and follow tasks through completion
• Computer and typing skills
• Valid in-state Driver’s License and reliable transportation
