Leasing & Marketing Manager

The Leasing & Marketing Manager helps drive apartment showings, leasing activity, and execution of the community marketing plan onsite in Tallahassee, FL.

Responsibilities

• Implement the community marketing plan
• Greet customers with a friendly, courteous attitude
• Answer the telephone using an appropriate greeting
• Schedule appointments for showings of apartment homes
• Show apartment homes to prospects and explain key features and benefits
• Collect apartment home applications and conduct credit checks on applicants
• Develop a weekly schedule for Leasing Specialists
• Deliver notices
• Prepare and sign leasing agreements with renewing and new residents
• Assist with preparing apartment homes for re-rental at any time
• Pass out fliers to promote the community
• Cross-market to other communities within The Collier Companies
• Take ownership of resident problems or concerns and follow through to resolution
• File and organize the working area
• Open and close the office and support showings
• Straighten and clean the office area and apartment homes for showings
• Help prepare and support renewal parties, residential appreciation parties, or other community special functions
• Ensure models, mini models, and other show units are in top condition for prospective renters
• Responsibilities may change based on community needs, market changes, or seasonal demands

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; college education preferred
• Retail, sales, or customer service experience
• Fair Housing and legal knowledge
• Reading, writing, seeing, hearing, and/or communication and mathematical skills
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English
• Reasoning and interpersonal skills, with appropriate telephone skills
• Management or leadership abilities
• Tactful, mature, flexible, and cooperative approach
• Ability to take initiative and complete tasks through follow-through
• Computer and typing skills
• Valid in-state Driver’s License and reliable transportation
