Job Description

Influencer Marketing Specialist role at Lush Handmade Cosmetics in New York, NY (remote) with a salary of USD 75,000 - 85,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Support the identification of new creators across mega, macro, and micro tiers in North America and nurture ongoing relationships to sustain brand partnerships.
  • Assist in end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring on-time product seeding, adherence to content guidelines, and consistent influencer engagement throughout the lifecycle.
  • Support the Friends of Lush affiliate program by coordinating with affiliate creators, streamlining onboarding, contributing to task and activation ideas, and monitoring performance.
  • Coordinate product seeding logistics: build target lists, track requests, ship products, and follow up to secure coverage and engagement.
  • Monitor influencer campaign performance, tracking engagement, sales, and EMV; assist in preparing reports for the Influencer Manager and brand leadership.
  • Gather and analyze campaign data, identify trends and growth opportunities, and support optimization of future initiatives.
  • Assist in planning and running influencer events, including concept development, venue and vendor sourcing, logistics, and on-site support.
  • Prepare post-event reports detailing attendance, outcomes, and insights for brand leadership.
  • Collaborate with PR, Digital Marketing, and Retail Marketing to deliver cohesive campaigns and consistent messaging across channels.
  • Help create influencer content guidelines and provide brand-approved assets to maintain consistent messaging aligned with Lush values.
  • Track budget expenditures and ensure adherence to the influencer marketing budget with administrative support.
  • Support the Influencer Manager in monitoring ongoing projects, meeting deadlines, and ensuring smooth execution.

Requirements

  • Three to four years of experience in influencer marketing, social media, or public relations, preferably in beauty, lifestyle, or retail sectors.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and sustain strong relationships with influencers and content creators to secure ongoing partnerships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with influencers, drafting campaign briefs, and supporting cross-team efforts.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail to manage multiple campaigns, events, and tasks concurrently.
  • Tech-savvy with experience across social platforms, content creation tools, and influencer platforms such as CreatorIQ or Influencity; proficient with spreadsheets, analytics, and reporting software.
  • Creative mindset with enthusiasm for brainstorming innovative influencer engagement ideas and impactful campaigns.
  • Adaptable and flexible in fast-paced environments, able to meet tight deadlines and adjust to evolving influencer marketing strategies.
