Graphic Web Designer / Marketing
Job Description
TILCO Vanguard Inc. is seeking a versatile Graphic Web Designer / Marketing professional to help advance its marketing initiatives through strong visual design and practical web execution. Based in Snohomish, WA with an onsite work setup, this role supports digital content creation, responsive website design and upkeep, SEO-informed improvements, and collaboration across teams working on marketing efforts.
What you’ll do
- Create engaging visual content for marketing campaigns, including logos, motion graphics, and other digital media.
- Design and maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal.
- Produce wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs that improve usability and support accessibility across devices.
- Apply SEO best practices and use analytics tools such as Google Analytics 360 to support visibility and performance improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver digital marketing assets, including email campaigns using Mailchimp or similar platforms.
- Plan and conduct user research and usability testing to refine layout, interactions, and overall UX.
- Manage ongoing website updates, content administration, and site maintenance to help keep performance on track.
- Coordinate communications with architects and general contractors across North America, including marketing-related support.
- Send samples to clients, architects, and other contacts, and communicate to help establish and maintain relationships.
- Support state and municipal requirements as needed so products can become approved in targeted city or state locations.
What you bring
- Proven experience across digital design, interaction design, motion graphics, and visual UI/UX.
- Strong proficiency with design tools including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, and InVision.
- Solid understanding of web development languages and frameworks including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Angular, React, Node.js, AJAX, Bootstrap, and SCSS/SASS.
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards such as WCAG, plus responsive design and usability best practices.
- Experience with WordPress or Drupal; knowledge of tools such as SharePoint or Joomla is a plus.
- Ability to use data analysis tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to inform design decisions.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks (for example Angular), version control like Git or SVN, and web production workflows.
- Capability to build prototypes using Axure or Balsamiq, with familiarity in wireframing tools.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with marketing teams and stakeholders.
- A professional portfolio covering a range of digital design projects across multiple media types.
