E-commerce Marketing Specialist
Job Description
The E-commerce Marketing Specialist supports ongoing product marketing and merchandising across warehouse club, big box, and direct-to-consumer channels. This onsite role in Lenexa, KS focuses on maintaining product listings, improving search and conversion performance, and coordinating content and campaign support across B2B and B2C portals.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage day-to-day product uploads for warehouse club product feeds, Big Box websites, direct-to-consumer marketplaces, RangeMe, and other B2B portals.
- Identify, evaluate, and apply marketing approaches that drive traffic to BLT products; determine promotional effectiveness and report performance metrics.
- Request product images and videos from Marketing and upload provided assets to big-box websites, marketplaces, and B2B platforms.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of the requirements, workflows, and mechanics for all product entry portals, processes, and systems used across channels.
- Use optimization and analytics tools (including SEMRush, Google, and retail site advertising analytics tools) to drive traffic from search engines and retail channels to branded products.
- Write original, web-optimized product descriptions and update product listings across multiple selling platforms.
- Apply keyword strategy and formatting for search engine optimization while staying within each platform’s guidelines.
- Create, maintain, and communicate weekly, monthly, and annual performance metrics; provide recommendations based on trends and results.
- Respond to customer reviews on Amazon, BazaarVoice, and other direct-to-consumer marketplaces, assisting the community by resolving inquiries empathetically, accurately, and in a timely manner; develop strong product knowledge.
- Use customer review data to take corrective action and improve product descriptions as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree plus one or more years of e-commerce marketing or merchandising experience, or three years of professional experience in e-commerce.
- Substantial experience entering data across multiple systems and vendor self-service portals, adding new products quickly, accurately, and completely.
- Experience owning the day-to-day implementation work required to improve product listings, search visibility, conversion rate, and product merchandising across the web.
- Self-directed approach to identifying and addressing changing eCommerce requirements.
- Superior communication and writing skills, including clear and accurate English writing, with demonstrated typing and grammar proficiency.
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic work style with a genuine focus on service quality.
- Collaborative mindset, working with sales, marketing, the plant, customer service, and management as needed.
- Ability to engage with all levels of the BLT organization and with external vendors.
- Experience with Home Depot Supplier Hub, Walmart/Sam’s Club Supplier One, Lowe’s Link, and Syndigo is a plus.

Work Location and Schedule

Compensation
USD 18 - 26 per hour.
