Director of Sales and Marketing

Juniper Communities is hiring a Director of Sales and Marketing to serve as an integral member of the Leadership Team. This in-person role in Meadville, PA focuses on driving sales through prospects and leads while supporting marketing efforts through referral source contact and community outreach.

You will lead key front-line functions tied to first impressions and move-ins, while partnering closely with internal admission, clinical, and operations teams to keep referral activity flowing and admissions moving forward.

Role Overview

• Integral part of the Leadership Team responsible for community sales (prospects and leads) and marketing (referral source contacts).
• Supervises First Impressions, Receptionist/Concierge, and the Move-In Coordinator (if applicable).
• Liaisons with Members of the Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

• Develops, monitors, and manages the marketing budget within established guidelines by implementing sales and marketing plans.
• Updates progress at least monthly and communicates daily with internal admission, clinical, and operations teams regarding pending referrals and admissions.
• Develops and organizes a networking and community outreach program focused on clinical professionals such as hospitals, physicians, and sub-acute rehabs.
• Maintains referral and admission volume with a plan for consistent visits as necessary (daily, weekly, and monthly).
• Meets or exceeds sales and marketing metrics while maintaining a census of budgeted occupancy or higher.
• Sets, tracks, and accomplishes goals tied to completed calls, mailings, referrals, generated appoints set, presentations, and admissions.
• Oversees and coordinates new resident move-ins.
• Conducts effective sales meetings and makes oral and written reports weekly.
• Provides tour and customer service training with associates.
• Submits recommendations to the Executive Director related to budget items.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing (desired).
• 1 year of previous sales and/or marketing experience in healthcare or a service-related setting.
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of older adults and the needs of the caregiver.
