Job Description

Lead the marketing strategy and execution for a multifamily portfolio across residential, commercial, and mixed-use assets with a hands-on role reporting to the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a consistent brand narrative that drives sales, strengthens brand loyalty, and improves market position.
  • Design and execute creative, data driven marketing programs that support brand growth and leasing performance.
  • Track campaign metrics and analyze performance to guide future marketing decisions.
  • Oversee content production for websites, social channels, print collateral, and digital ads.
  • Coordinate advertising across platforms such as Google Ads, internet listing services (ApartmentGuide, Apartments.com, etc.), and social channels.
  • Manage all social media channels and implement strategies aligned with evolving platforms and technology.
  • Develop and maintain social media content calendars for properties.
  • Administer business profiles on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Yelp, and Google Business.
  • Plan and promote monthly resident events with a focus on upscale, engaging experiences.
  • Coordinate all marketing, advertising, and promotional campaigns for the management company and property portfolio.
  • Coordinate production and installation of signage and marketing collateral.
  • Conduct weekly audits of websites and review prospect call activity.
  • Establish guidelines for outreach marketing, public relations, and digital marketing efforts.
  • Monitor online reviews and manage reputation across platforms.
  • Submit support tickets via RealPage, Engrain, and ILS partners as needed.
  • Collaborate with property teams and leadership to ensure consistent branding and messaging across the portfolio.
  • Maintain effective internal communications to keep teams informed of marketing objectives and brand development strategies.
  • Support cross functional initiatives to optimize leasing, occupancy, and cash flow.
  • Oversee the active recruitment program by conducting orientations, participating in local job fairs, and advising managers on training related to culture and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience managing multi channel marketing campaigns
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms including Google Ads, SEO, social media, and email marketing
  • Strong project management and communication abilities
  • Experience in the multifamily or real estate sector is required
  • High emotional intelligence, self starter mentality, and collaborative mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with RealPage or similar systems

Location

Richmond, VA, on site with potential travel to other regional markets; hybrid remote option available in Richmond, VA 23230.

Compensation: USD 90,000 - 110,000 per year
