Job Description
The Community Liaison role in Spring, TX focuses on inbound and outbound communications and local market growth for HarmonyCares on site.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market and competitive landscape analysis to differentiate HarmonyCares services for external referral partners.
- Educate the community about our mission to provide high quality personalized home healthcare for those who need it most.
- Meet or exceed defined in-person and virtual meeting targets with key decision makers.
- Develop a thorough understanding of eligibility and enrollment processes.
- Educate on, and facilitate as requested, benefit enrollment and related processes.
- Track regional performance in the CRM, demonstrating progress toward budgeted targets.
- Schedule face-to-face or phone discussions with patients and their caregivers or legal representatives to discuss program eligibility.
- Inform patients about alignment with an accountable care organization or CMS alternative payment model; if they opt in, collect the Voluntary Alignment Form from the patient or their legal representative.
- Answer inbound inquiries from patients, families, and facility staff about the company’s market operations.
- Promptly triage care needs, scheduling, and billing concerns to the appropriate department.
- Oversee outreach calls and meetings with external sources, documenting activity.
- Adhere to company policies, marketing plans, and applicable laws when engaging with referral sources and patients.
- Ensure HIPAA privacy and security compliance and adherence to company standards.
- Maintain ongoing communication with sales leadership and local leadership and support staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of B2B sales experience.
- 2+ years of healthcare-related industry sales or marketing experience.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving skills and the ability to represent service capabilities to targeted referral sources.
- Knowledge of sales techniques and territory management.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory and attend sales meetings as required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and self-motivation to perform with limited oversight after orientation and training.
