Job Description

Based in Salt Lake City, UT, this hybrid role leads strategic marketing initiatives for Enbridge Gas Distribution and Storage (GDS) in US jurisdictions including Utah and Ohio, spanning both B2C and B2B programs.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of marketing programs from strategy through execution, tracking, and ongoing optimization, ensuring plans reflect stakeholder priorities and business needs, supported by research and insights.
  • Serve as a strategic partner across functions to translate business goals into actionable marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Operate with autonomy to manage multiple projects simultaneously, define direction, set timelines, and deliver seamless execution with minimal supervision.
  • Oversee daily marketing operations, including budgeting, procurement, invoicing, and contract management to ensure smooth, compliant delivery of initiatives.
  • Leverage analytics to monitor performance, assess effectiveness, identify optimization opportunities, and guide future marketing strategies.
  • Proactively explore opportunities for process improvements, capability development, and cross-functional collaboration to amplify the team’s impact.
  • Ensure brand consistency across materials and campaigns, aligning with brand standards, messaging, and business strategy.
  • Manage relationships with external creative agencies to deliver high quality creative, media, and digital outputs for omnichannel campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory audit requirements for marketing and communications in Utah and Ohio, maintaining standards and reporting.
  • Monitor industry and customer experience trends, pilot new tools and channels, and implement innovations to boost marketing effectiveness and engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive marketing or communications experience.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience leading and managing relationships with external creative agencies.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders in complex environments.
  • Attention to detail in producing deliverables while understanding overarching objectives and strategy.
  • Results-oriented problem solver with strong decision-making skills, blending creative instincts with data-driven analysis to drive impact.
  • Structured and strategic mindset, capable of turning ambiguous inputs into clear frameworks, roadmaps, and priorities.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and to manage engagements with senior management.

Preferred Assets

  • Advanced degree (Masters, MBA).
  • Strong knowledge of Enbridge Gas Inc. energy conservation programs and jurisdictional regulatory safety communication requirements.
  • Experience in the energy industry or a regulated sector.
  • Proven track record of developing, implementing, and measuring marketing strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
