Job Description

Sandisk's Consumer Marketing Finance team in Milpitas, CA, onsite, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Consumer Marketing Finance, to lead complex planning, forecasting, and analysis that drive key consumer business objectives. The role partners with senior stakeholders to translate data into strategic finance insights that inform campaigns, pricing decisions, and investment trade-offs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders as a trusted finance advisor, delivering financial insights to support marketing campaigns, strategic initiatives, pricing choices, and investment trade-offs.
  • Own end-to-end financial planning and forecasting for designated business areas, including annual operating plans, quarterly outlooks, and long-range plans.
  • Build and maintain revenue, margin, and ROI models, incorporating key drivers and scenario analysis.
  • Lead the preparation of executive-level financial reviews, dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting with clear financial narratives.
  • Oversee month-end and quarter-end analyses to ensure accuracy, insight, and alignment with internal controls and reporting standards.
  • Perform in-depth variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, communicating root causes and implications to senior leadership.
  • Identify, design, and implement process, control, and tools improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives and special projects, including financial systems implementations and process enhancements.
  • Prepare complex ad hoc analyses to support senior management decision-making and time-sensitive business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least seven years of progressive finance experience with increasing scope and complexity; FP&A experience required.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for advanced financial modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Solid knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance management.
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex deliverables and multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Experience translating complex financial data into clear, concise insights for senior and executive audiences.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Track record of process improvement, control enhancement, and analytical rigor.
  • High attention to detail while operating at a strategic level.
