Job Description

The Sales and Marketing Operations Manager will improve sales and marketing efficiency by connecting commercial strategy to day-to-day execution. This role emphasizes process optimization, funnel analytics, technology management, and automation to support revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain full-funnel dashboards that track key performance metrics, including Cost Per Lead (CPL), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), conversion rates, ROI, and salespeople KPIs.
  • Own and optimize the technology stack, including High Level, Zoho, and ad platforms, with a focus on data hygiene, lead routing, and database segmentation.
  • Oversee lead scoring infrastructure to support more effective targeting and pipeline management.
  • Measure the efficacy of advertising assets and email campaigns, ensuring marketing assets and sales collateral remain aligned.
  • Support territory and segment planning, maintain sales rep scorecards, and assist with revenue forecasting.
  • Serve as a strategic liaison across sales, marketing, and finance to ensure leadership has the right data to guide go-to-market decisions.
  • Translate complex, large datasets into clear, actionable stories and recommendations for executive leadership.
  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM records and support ongoing pipeline updates.
  • Provide sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reporting to leadership.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy.
  • Incorporate operational feedback, safety recommendations, and new technology into training materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, data science, or a related field (strongly preferred).
  • 2–5+ years in sales operations, marketing operations, or revenue analytics, preferably in a B2C or educational/manufacturing services environment.
  • Experience measuring marketing performance across long, multi-touch sales cycles.
  • Experience combining data from multiple systems (including CRM, scheduling, and accounting) into unified reporting.
  • Operational and/or Business Intelligence (BI) reporting experience.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, CRM platforms (including High Level and Zoho), and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Ability to travel between Sling locations and other locations for sales and marketing events as needed, including weekends where applicable.
  • Professional, solutions-oriented judgment with high discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
  • Strong prioritization skills across multiple business needs.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to incorporate constructive feedback and make adjustments as needed.

Location, Salary, and Experience

  • Location: Torrance, CA (onsite)
  • Salary: USD 75,000–85,000 per year
  • Minimum experience: 2 years
