Job Description

The National Hispanic Contractors Association seeks a Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join the team onsite in Houston, Texas. This role offers a yearly salary range of USD 30,863 to 45,598 and requires a bachelor's degree plus at least three years of marketing experience. The position combines marketing coordination with client relationship management, campaign execution, and leadership responsibilities within a Hispanic market focused context.

Responsibilities

  • Client Liaison: Serve as the main contact between clients and the agency, building strong relationships while understanding marketing needs.
  • Campaign Planning: Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and campaigns targeted to Hispanic audiences, incorporating cultural insights and trends.
  • Market Research: Research Hispanic demographics, track market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics.
  • Content Coordination: Work with creative teams to produce culturally relevant content across copy, visuals, and video.
  • Media Planning: Support media planning and media buying to optimize reach to the target audience.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track campaign performance metrics, deliver regular client reports, and recommend optimization steps.
  • Budget Management: Assist in efficiently allocating budget resources for campaigns.
  • Event Coordination: Help organize and promote events or activations aimed at Hispanic communities.
  • Strategy Development: Lead the creation of comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with client objectives and cultural insights.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee a team of marketing coordinators, offering mentorship and fostering collaboration.
  • Client Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell and expand client accounts through additional services and campaigns.
  • New Business Development: Contribute to agency growth by pursuing new opportunities in Hispanic marketing spaces.
  • Vendor and Partner Relations: Build and maintain relationships with media partners, vendors, and Hispanic market influencers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles and tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in the Hispanic marketing field.
  • Proven experience in leading marketing teams and managing client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in marketing analytics tools.
  • Excellent leadership and project management abilities.
