Job Description

This part-time, on-site role supports the marketing and outreach initiatives for the Coral Gables Golf & Country Club. The position focuses on designing, producing and distributing marketing materials, managing outreach to members and the public, and maintaining the club’s brand and online presence. The role collaborates with the Marketing and Brand Coordinator to fulfill outreach needs, and carries an hourly compensation of USD 2,515. A high school diploma is required to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the organization’s annual marketing, media relations and outreach plan, and evaluate progress against milestones, benchmarks, and year-over-year metrics such as views and leads.
  • Research, concept, design and produce marketing and promotional materials for products, services, programs, events and activities to promote the Coral Gables Golf & Country Club.
  • Provide support for media relations and coordinate press releases as needed.
  • Create marketing campaigns for new programs and events and assess their impact on target audiences.
  • Prepare, edit and polish accurate marketing materials, signage, reports and other publications.
  • Assist in the development of marketing and promotional displays.
  • Maintain the club’s photo archives and serve as photographer at special events, coordinating shoots for programs and activities.
  • Support updates to the club website and social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Google, Yelp, and others; monitor the club’s online presence and measure campaign impact.
  • Conduct surveys and evaluations on behalf of the club.
  • Stay informed about new technologies, best practices and developments in marketing and media.
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings, trainings and other required functions.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule that may include occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Comply with all applicable policies, rules, regulations, laws and ordinances of the Department and the City of Coral Gables.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • College coursework in visual art, graphic design, marketing, communication, advertising, journalism, public relations, or a related field is preferred.
  • Two years of marketing experience is preferred.
  • A valid Florida Driver’s License.
  • A comparable amount of training or experience may be substituted for the minimum educational requirement.
  • A portfolio of current work or samples in graphic design, marketing, publicity or multimedia must be available at the time of interview.

Benefits

  • PART-TIME (15-24 HOURS): Annual leave 4 days per year (1 day equals 4.80 hours). Leave accrues but may not be used during the first 90 days of employment.
  • PART-TIME (15-24 HOURS): Sick leave 4 days per year; conversion to annual leave is possible if more than 2 days have accrued and unused during the fiscal year.
  • PART-TIME (15-24 HOURS): Holidays total 13 days per year, with an additional floating day if scheduled to work.
  • PART-TIME (15-24 HOURS): Bereavement leave of 3 days for the death of an immediate family member (parent, spouse or child) and 2 days for any other immediate family member.
  • PART-TIME (15-24 HOURS): Administrative sick leave available after meeting eligibility criteria.
  • PART-TIME (15-24 HOURS): Cash payout of accrued/earned annual leave not to exceed 15 hours, at the current rate of pay, with deadlines for requests as specified.
  • PART-TIME (15-24 HOURS): Military leave of up to 30 work days per year with pay; additional days may be unpaid unless otherwise provided.
  • PART-TIME (15-24 HOURS): Jury duty time off with pay when scheduled to work.
