Responsibilities

  • Market Trend Insight and Demand Discovery: conduct in-depth research on global market trends, competing product dynamics, and consumer behavior. Output should identify unmet pain points from data and deliver forward-looking market opportunity reports rather than simple summaries.
  • Product Lifecycle Support and Selling Point Transformation: participate in full lifecycle management from new product definition to delisting; translate research into precise product USPs and copy directions. Collaborate with R&D and design to ensure insights are accurately reflected in prototypes, listing pages, and promotional creatives.
  • XFN Collaboration and Solution Closed Loop: work efficiently with product, brand, and sales to implement insight-driven solutions. Track market feedback post-launch, review gaps between research and actual sales, and iterate research strategies quickly.

Requirements

  • Native proficiency in Mandarin and English, able to communicate fluently with U.S. consumers, influencers, and the China headquarters team
  • Highly self-driven and curious, strong in thinking and communication, with a passion for the apparel industry
  • Enthusiastic about online trends; well versed in hot topics on major U.S. platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube) and familiar with platform influencers
  • Based at Feelingirl’s Houston office and able to attend regular cross-time-zone meetings with the China headquarters
  • Relevant market research experience is preferred
