Job Description

Join a small, creative Philadelphia team preparing to launch an independently developed cultural experience. This contract role is designed for a hands-on Marketing & PR Launch Lead who can take an existing creative direction and go execute: press outreach, social campaigns, influencer partnerships, asset coordination, and a multi-stage website and ticket sales rollout. Your work will directly help generate awareness, excitement, and ticket sales while reducing the burden on the founders through clear ownership and day-to-day follow-through.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead press outreach: pitching, press releases, journalist follow-ups, and coordination of local and regional media coverage.
  • Execute social campaigns across relevant platforms, including content scheduling, publishing, and audience engagement.
  • Identify, engage, and coordinate Philadelphia-area influencers, creators, and community partners to build awareness and drive ticket sales.
  • Coordinate production and delivery of campaign assets, including photography, video, graphics, and social content, aligned with the established creative direction.
  • Manage marketing activities around a planned, multi-stage website and ticket sales rollout, collaborating with existing technical and creative resources.
  • Own launch calendars, deadlines, deliverables, vendor coordination, and day-to-day campaign execution.
  • Leverage existing Philadelphia cultural, hospitality, entertainment, and community relationships to generate interest.
  • Track results across press activity, engagement, and ticket sales, and make practical improvements as needed.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven hands-on experience launching cultural experiences, attractions, entertainment venues, hospitality concepts, events, or other consumer-facing experiences.
  • Strong existing relationships with Philadelphia media, influencers, creators, and cultural or hospitality organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience in both PR and digital/social marketing execution.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple moving parts, manage outside specialists, and meet tight timelines.
  • Comfort working within an existing strategy and creative direction rather than rebuilding from scratch.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and highly organized, with the ability to solve problems independently and without constant supervision.
  • Philadelphia-based and able to apply genuine understanding of the city’s culture, audiences, and media landscape.
  • Experience with museums, immersive experiences, themed entertainment, arts organizations, or ticketed attractions is a major plus.

Role details

  • Location: Philadelphia, PA 19125 (Required). Hybrid in Philadelphia.
  • Job type: Contract
  • Pay: USD 26 per hour
  • Work location: In person

  • A description of your local media, influencer, and cultural relationships.
  • Your availability to begin, along with your anticipated rate or fee structure for an initial 30-day engagement.
