Marketing Liaison

South Plains Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of UMC and Encompass Health, is seeking a Marketing Liaison to support patient growth in the Lubbock, TX area. This onsite role focuses on building and maintaining referral relationships across a defined geographic territory, while also helping ensure admissions can move forward by addressing and following up on admission barriers.

Working with the hospital’s referral development approach, you will educate community partners and physicians on available programs and services, using market insights to identify opportunities that strengthen the hospital’s position in the local healthcare landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical conditions and complete pre-screening from sources such as the hospital/SNF/home/assisted living facilities.
• Build call plans and execute strategies to drive referral volume using the Referral Development System (RDS).
• Apply market analysis data within your territory to spot new business opportunities.
• Educate the community, referral sources, and physicians on hospital programs and services.
• Identify development opportunities that support strategic positioning in the marketplace.
• Respond to admission barriers, help overcome identified issues, and follow up on admissions variables.

Requirements

• Maintain a current driver’s license in the employed state with an acceptable driving record per company policy.
• Hold CPR certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent job experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably as a clinician or tech.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a nurse liaison, or successful sales experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Familiarity with acute hospitals, rehab facilities, and the local healthcare market preferred.

Compensation & Work Location

• Location: Lubbock, TX (onsite)
• Pay: USD 29 - 51 per hour
