Job Description

Based in Seminole, Florida, this onsite role supports Catholic Charities by managing the Marketing Database within Salesforce and overseeing the donation lifecycle. The position blends data management, reporting, and donor communications to help fuel fundraising campaigns and demonstrate the impact of charitable work.

Responsibilities

  • Enter donation data (donor and donation details) into Salesforce
  • Maintain the database, including donor records and generated correspondence
  • Produce donor acknowledgments and Year-End giving summaries, including labels, envelopes, and prepaid postage
  • Create and run queries and reports, proactively or upon request
  • Build Excel-based analyses from reports to present data in meaningful ways
  • Interpret data to assess the impact of events and appeals and to inform changes to donation forms, websites, and communications
  • Process donation deposits for transfer to Financial Edge (FE)
  • Set up Campaigns, Appeals, Funds, Gift types, and sub-type codes within Raiser's Edge (RE)
  • Create and maintain Online Donation forms within the Online Express component of RE
  • Create emails/newsletters using the Online Express Email Template (infrequent)
  • Create, print, and analyze donation reports available through Online Express
  • Research data issues with Blackbaud software support and correct data entry or reporting problems
  • Correspond with donors as needed regarding contact or donation information questions
  • Assist with special projects as directed by the Marketing & Development Manager

Requirements

  • Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading, and comprehension)
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Respectful of and able to work with diverse cultural groups among clients, staff, and volunteers
  • Flexible schedule with occasional evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to set boundaries, meet deadlines, and multitask
