Marketing Coordinator – Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care

Ahva Care of Stickney, a skilled nursing and long-term care facility based in Berwyn, IL, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to drive census growth and referral development. This onsite role centers on building relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, and physicians to boost admissions, while coordinating tours and tracking census data for leadership reporting. The position also involves community outreach and ensuring marketing practices align with CMS and IDPH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement marketing plans to grow admissions for skilled nursing and long-term care services.
• Establish and nurture referral relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, and physicians.
• Organize and lead facility tours for referral sources, residents, and families.
• Monitor referrals, admissions, and census metrics; provide regular updates to the leadership team.
• Collaborate with the Administrator, Director of Nursing, and Admissions team to meet census targets.
• Represent the facility at community events, healthcare networking meetings, and outreach initiatives.
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with CMS and IDPH regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience in a nursing home or long-term care setting is required.
• Strong understanding of SNF admissions, Medicare/Medicaid, and managed care.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet census targets.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
