Marketing Coordinator
Job Description
LawyerLisa is hiring a Marketing Coordinator to provide hands-on support for the firm’s marketing and digital initiatives, with a strong focus on social media, community outreach, and event promotion. In this onsite, hybrid role based in Irmo, SC, you will help strengthen brand awareness and community connections while supporting referrals and ensuring marketing materials stay consistent, polished, and compliant.
Role Overview
Working closely with the Marketing Team and alongside attorneys and staff, you will support implementation of the firm’s digital marketing strategy across online channels. The position includes creating and publishing social media content, maintaining website and SEO-related updates, assisting with email and newsletters, and supporting educational seminars, webinars, and community events from planning through execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with implementing the firm’s digital marketing strategy across appropriate online channels.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content across the firm’s platforms.
- Develop social media content that reflects the firm’s brand, services, community involvement, events, and areas of legal knowledge.
- Monitor social media activity, engagement, and trends to identify opportunities to improve reach and engagement.
- Assist with website content updates, SEO initiatives, online listings, and other digital marketing activities.
- Support email marketing, newsletters, and other digital communications.
- Track basic digital marketing and social media performance and provide updates on engagement, reach, and related metrics.
- Use AI-powered tools to support research, brainstorming, content creation, editing, marketing analysis, and workflow efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to use AI and other technology to streamline recurring marketing tasks and improve productivity.
- Review and verify AI-generated content for accuracy, tone, confidentiality, and compliance before publication.
- Learn and effectively use the firm’s marketing, CRM, social media, scheduling, and other technology platforms.
- Create content for articles, newsletters, social media, presentations, email campaigns, website content, and other marketing materials.
- Create and coordinate event graphics, promotional materials, presentations, handouts, and other collateral using Canva.
- Maintain consistency in branding, messaging, tone, and visual presentation across marketing materials and platforms.
- Assist with photography, video, and other multimedia content as appropriate, and proofread and edit materials for accuracy and professionalism.
- Coordinate planning and execution of educational seminars, webinars, community outreach events, networking events, and other firm-sponsored events.
- Manage event details including invitations, registration, communications, presentations, handouts, signage, supplies, catering, and setup.
- Send event invitations, confirmations, and text reminders, and coordinate with attorneys, staff, vendors, venues, and community partners.
- Support attendee engagement and post-event follow-up, including coordination and promotion of Prevention Planning events and other educational programs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources such as financial advisors, healthcare providers, retirement communities, senior-focused organizations, and community partners.
- Coordinate referral thank-you communications and other relationship-building activities, including client and referral-partner communications as appropriate.
- Assist with community sponsorships, silent auction donations, welcome baskets, and other community or firm initiatives.
- Maintain the marketing calendar, keep projects organized, and coordinate deadlines for campaigns, events, social media, and content.
- Assist with tracking marketing activities, campaigns, events, and results, and help maintain organized marketing files, templates, graphics, and content resources.
- Support public relations activities such as media opportunities, press releases, interviews, and community visibility initiatives.
- Ensure marketing materials comply with applicable legal marketing ethics, advertising regulations, and firm policies.
- Support additional marketing, event, community outreach, and administrative activities as needed, including identifying opportunities to improve marketing systems, processes, and the client experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of marketing, digital marketing, social media, event coordination, or related experience.
- Demonstrated experience creating and managing social media content.
- Demonstrated experience using Canva to create professional marketing materials and graphics.
- Experience with digital marketing, including social media, email marketing, SEO, website content, and/or marketing analytics.
- Experience planning and coordinating professional events.
- Experience using AI tools, including generative AI, AI-assisted research, or AI-powered marketing and productivity tools.
- Ability to travel locally and within assigned markets for events, meetings, networking opportunities, and community outreach.
- Highly organized, proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Strong creative skills and the ability to produce professional, visually appealing content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and current social media practices.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles including SEO, content marketing, email marketing, and online engagement.
- Ability to evaluate and edit AI-generated content for accuracy, quality, tone, and appropriateness.
- Ability to plan and execute professional events and manage multiple event details simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize competing projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to respond with a sense of urgency while remaining calm, professional, and solutions-oriented under pressure.

Compensation and Job Type

- Salary range: $50,000 to $60,000 per year

- Occasional travel to other firm markets may be required
