Job Description
Research Rockstar Training & Staffing is hiring a Marketing Coordinator for a hands-on, hybrid role that blends day-to-day marketing execution with structured client coordination. You will help move inbound interest through screening and scheduling, support ongoing staffing client needs, and keep educational webinar operations running smoothly on a twice-monthly cadence.
This position is focused on coordination and screening, not sales or business development. The contract begins with an initial 2-month term, with intent to transition to W-2 employment for qualified, US-based candidates.
What you’ll do
- Draft and produce Mailchimp email campaigns, Hootsuite social posts, and related blog content using content and rough drafts provided by subject-matter experts (CEO or instructors) to promote eLearning courses, Zoom events, and newly available instructor videos.
- Upload videos to the company YouTube channel, using templates and past examples to maintain a consistent style.
- Monitor the company LinkedIn page for activity that requires follow-up.
- Maintain staffing and training sales-pipeline records in monday.com based on CEO meeting notes and AI-generated transcripts, updating stages, next steps, due dates, and notes.
- Review inbound leads from forms, screen them using defined criteria, and schedule discovery calls with qualified prospects.
- Support existing staffing clients by coordinating routine contract extensions, formatting templated agreements, and ensuring digital signatures are completed on time.
- Write professional email responses following established SOPs and provided guidance.
- Coordinate with eLearning instructors on curriculum assets, content-marketing deliverables, and materials needed for upcoming Zoom events.
- Manage logistics for twice-monthly educational Zoom events, including registrations, reminders, calendar invitations, instructor coordination, and pre-event quality checks. The current workflow uses Paperform, Zapier, and Mailchimp.
- Provide technical support during Zoom events, including managing the waiting room, greeting attendees, monitoring event operations, and downloading AI-generated notes and recordings.
- Send post-event thank-you messages, feedback surveys, and related resources.
- Optional: Create landing pages using Instapage and/or Elementor to support events and content-marketing campaigns if skills align.
Experience and skills
- 4+ years of experience in marketing support, marketing coordination, or social media marketing.
- 4+ years of experience working in a B2B company with at least $20 million in annual revenue.
- 2+ years managing an inbound marketing funnel to identify B2B sales leads for screening and meeting scheduling.
- Microsoft 365 skills at an intermediate or higher level (a short, real-time assessment will be required during the first interview).
- Word: styles and formatting tools, multi-level bullet lists and tables, automatic table of contents, and proper footers and footnotes.
- Excel: formulas and cell references and professional-looking charts (not seeking a data analyst, but beyond basic data entry).
- PowerPoint: slide masters, SmartArt, and images for consistent, professional presentations, including polishing decks for business meetings, pitch presentations, or webinars.
- Zoom meeting or webinar operations: 2 years (required).
- B2B marketing: 3 years (required).
- Social media marketing: 3 years (required).
Tools and technologies
- Mailchimp, Hootsuite, YouTube, LinkedIn, monday.com, Wrike, Asana, Zoom, Paperform, Zapier, Instapage, Elementor
- Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), plus AI-generated transcripts and AI-generated notes/recordings
Schedule, location, and employment details
- Location: Marlborough, MA (hybrid)
- Hybrid requirement: 8 hours per week in the Marlborough, Massachusetts, office, scheduled as either one full day or two half days. This in-office requirement is firm; remaining time may be worked from home.
- Windows: must be performed on a Windows computer (Mac-based arrangements cannot be accommodated).
- Zoom cadence: expect to participate in 2-3 Zoom meetings per week, with camera on and use of Zoom chat for quick questions and messages.
- Team coordination: task coordination through Wrike, with expectations of 8-10 status updates per week.
- Contract: starts as a 2-month contract; intent to transition to a W-2 employee (US-based). Could be 15-25 hours/week depending on skills.
- Pay: $40.00 - $51.00 per hour
Benefits
