You will help advance Marriott’s image both inside the property and in the broader community, drive revenue through effective sales techniques, upsells, and package or tour offerings, and support guest loyalty while collaborating with a professional team to uphold quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote the brand image awareness internally and externally.
• Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while preserving current guest loyalty to Marriott.
• Identify opportunities to upsell enhanced products to guests and sell enhancements to create better experiences or events at Marriott.
• Encourage guests or callers to purchase or schedule preliminary package and tour sales.
• Explain the details and requirements related to attending a sales presentation to potential owners.
• Verify that individuals meet suitability requirements to schedule preliminary package and tour sales before organizing an excursion for the Marriott Vacation Club.
• Determine and award gifts to guests as thanks for their patronage (for example, reward points or show tickets).
• Answer guest questions regarding hotel services and facilities.
• Receive, record, and transmit messages accurately, completely, and legibly.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures; ensure a neat, professional uniform and appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests per company standards; anticipate service needs and address them with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally; prepare and review written documents accurately; handle calls using proper protocol.
• Cultivate positive working relationships; support the team to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns.
• Meet quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods as part of the role.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements
