  • Design and implement integrated campaigns with the APJ Demand Creation HUB across email, social, paid media, content syndication, digital advertising, and paid editorial channels.
  • Manage executive engagement programs in Japan, including executive roundtables, CxO events, and account-based relationship marketing aligned with Japanese enterprise buying dynamics.
  • Develop partner marketing initiatives with key Japan channel and alliance partners to generate joint pipeline and co-selling opportunities.

  • Utilize intent data and signal-based marketing tools to prioritize target accounts, time campaigns, and allocate marketing investment to in-market buyers.
  • Collaborate with the Japan SDR team to ensure effective lead handoff, campaign follow-up alignment, and continuous feedback to improve lead quality and conversion.
  • Partner with Account Executives to support late-stage pipeline acceleration through targeted programs, bespoke content, and customer references to advance deals to close.
  • Localize global and regional assets, messaging, and content for the Japanese market with agency support, ensuring cultural and linguistic relevance across touchpoints.
  • Leverage AI-powered marketing tools to boost productivity and campaign effectiveness, including AI-assisted content, performance analysis, audience segmentation, and personalized outreach at scale.
  • Analyze campaign performance using CRM and BI tools, and maintain regular reporting to stakeholders on Japan field marketing results, learnings, and optimization actions.
  • Prioritize market needs using data, refine demand creation plans, and adjust strategy and investment based on what works.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations to optimize marketing automation workflows, ensure accurate data capture, and maintain lead routing in Marketo and Salesforce.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better targeting, processes, and smarter use of technology and automation.
  • Serve as the primary marketing partner to the Japan sales organization, gathering field intelligence and communicating needs to corporate and regional marketing to ensure GTM plans reflect market requirements.
  • Coordinate with the APJ Demand Creation HUB, regional product marketing, and PR teams to ensure Japan is represented in regional and global program planning and roadmaps.
  • Manage third-party vendors, creative agencies, event production partners, and media partners to deliver programs on time, on budget, and on brand.
  • Contribute to web localization and technical marketing system input, representing Japan customer and developer needs within the broader APJ marketing infrastructure.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the capacity to link marketing activity to pipeline and revenue outcomes and to articulate this connection to sales stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering with a sales organization and SDR/BDR teams to align marketing with revenue goals and support late-stage pipeline progression.
