Job Description
The Director of Marketing at Scenic Living Communities is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and overseeing marketing, sales, public relations, and community outreach programs for the Iowa Falls, IA campus. This onsite role focuses on promoting services, strengthening the community’s reputation, supporting occupancy and census growth, and managing inquiry and admissions processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own lead management by maintaining a lead database and keeping accurate records of contacts.
- Support census growth through strategic marketing initiatives and business development activities.
- Coordinate tours for independent living and assisted living, as well as skilled nursing when needed, while managing inquiries and ensuring clear, timely communication.
- Convert inquiries into admissions through demonstrated closing ability.
- Manage the organization’s website, social media platforms, and overall online presence.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns and events intended to attract prospective residents and families.
- Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, healthcare providers, community organizations, and business partners.
- Develop and manage marketing and promotional materials.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the local market for senior care options and conduct competitive analysis.
- Promote Scenic Living Communities through networking events, community outreach, and public relations activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience; 1 to 2 years of experience in marketing with knowledge of senior living services or healthcare is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Proficiency with social media, digital marketing, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, networking ability, and relationship building.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
