Job Description
Yuit Communications, an advertising and marketing agency based in Anchorage, Alaska, offers a hybrid work model and a pathway to lead client services at scale. The Director of Client Services guides a team of Account Managers, Account Coordinators, and Project Managers, driving revenue growth within existing client relationships while uncovering new opportunities. The role provides a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 and the chance to shape client strategy alongside the President and senior leaders.

Responsibilities
- Manage and deepen connections with the agency's key client accounts
- Provide proactive strategic guidance and consistently excellent service
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex client issues and strategic discussions
- Participate in high level client meetings and presentations when required
- Maintain visibility across major client initiatives to ensure alignment with agency standards
- Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client relationships
- Collaborate with Account Managers to develop strategic growth plans for client accounts
- Monitor account health to support long term client retention and satisfaction
- Support proposal development, new initiatives, and scope expansion opportunities
- Contribute to business development efforts and agency growth initiatives
- Lead and mentor the client services team including Account Managers, Account Coordinators, and Project Managers
- Set clear expectations, processes, and performance standards for the team
- Help team members build strong client management and strategic thinking skills
- Ensure organized communication and accountability across projects
- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture
- Coordinate with creative, media, strategy, and production teams to maintain cross department alignment
- Clearly communicate client expectations internally and reflect them in project plans
- Help eliminate operational bottlenecks affecting project delivery
- Support efficient workflows between account services, project management, and internal teams
- Refine agency processes related to client communication, project planning, and service delivery
- Improve systems that support effective project management and client reporting
- Maintain visibility across major agency initiatives and timelines
- Assist leadership in strengthening the agency's operational structure
- Partner with the President on strategy, growth planning, and operational improvements
- Contribute to long term initiatives that strengthen the agency's market position
- Support expansion into new markets and industries
- Identify opportunities to enhance service offerings and client value
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in account management, client services, or agency leadership
- Prior experience managing client facing teams within an advertising, marketing, or creative agency is preferred
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities within client accounts
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working across creative, digital, advertising, and production teams
- Ability to navigate complex client relationships with professionalism and confidence
