Digital Marketing Specialist

Shankar Distillers is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to elevate its online presence and broaden brand awareness in the craft spirits space. The role concentrates on social media promotion, with a focus on Instagram, and is based on-site in Troy, Michigan as a part-time position. The role offers $25-$30 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Promote Shankar Distillers products across Instagram and other social media platforms.
• Create engaging content including product posts, stories, reels, and campaign-based promotional content.
• Develop strategies to increase brand visibility, audience engagement, and follower growth.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice aligned with the company's identity.
• Preferred: visit the Michigan distillery to capture high-quality photos and videos for authentic on-site promotional content.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the spirits industry (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of alcohol branding and promotion.
• Strong understanding of market trends within the spirits sector.
• Hands-on experience managing Instagram business accounts.
• Hands-on experience managing social media campaigns.
• Ability to create engaging visual and written content.
