Job Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist manages the City of Oak Creek's digital channels, analytics, and data driven initiatives to enhance the customer experience and support city and tourism priorities.

Job details

  • Location: Oak Creek, WI (onsite)
  • Salary: USD 60,000 - 76,000 per yearly

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the main administrator for the City's websites, including the tourism site and other designated digital platforms.
  • Oversees content, site navigation, accessibility compliance, online forms, workflow automation, and UX enhancements.
  • Configures and maintains digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Placer.ai, and related analytics platforms.
  • Creates digital campaigns, SEO strategies, and online advertising efforts aligned with city and tourism goals.
  • Generates dashboards and reports drawing on website, campaign, and visitation analytics to inform decisions.
  • Works with City departments, vendors, and external partners to implement site enhancements and digital initiatives.
  • Researches digital trends and performance metrics, identifying opportunities to boost online engagement and service delivery.
  • Performs additional communications, marketing, and related tasks as assigned.
