Job Description

The Creative Marketing Manager will lead the day-to-day marketing for the BBC Learning Hub, shaping and executing campaigns to broaden the audience and engage educators, students, and partners. Based in New York on a six-month contract, this role combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and run campaigns across social media, email, and digital advertising, including Google, programmatic, and paid social channels.
  • Manage the social media presence, producing content tailored to teachers, parents, and students; monitor performance and optimize for engagement, reach, and conversions.
  • Oversee audience lists and craft newsletters that showcase new resources and drive traffic to the Hub.
  • Coordinate audience segmentation, conduct A/B testing, and assess overall campaign performance.
  • Contribute to editorial strategy and supervise freelance writers and content creators.
  • Write and edit blogs, teaching resources, and marketing copy that align with the brand voice.
  • Collaborate with the content team to integrate marketing priorities with educational storytelling.
  • Partner with BBC Learning Hub leadership and external partners to ensure campaigns support broader strategic goals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects with content, product, and design teams.

  • You must be authorized to work in the United States to be considered for this role.
  • This is a six-month contract position. The role is based in New York and is a full-time temporary and hybrid appointment.
  • Rate: USD 40 per hour
  • Hours per week: 35 hours over five days

The ideal candidate blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution to build the community promptly.
