Job Description

Wella Company offers a hybrid California role with a competitive compensation range of $80,000 - $106,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package. In the position of Associate Manager, Influencer Marketing & Brand Activation, you will lead influencer campaigns across Wella Professionals, Clairol, and Wella Color Charm, collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen brand equity and deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive influencer community strategies that raise brand awareness, deepen engagement, and advance consideration and conversion.
  • Identify, vet, and manage relationships with key influencers, creators, and talent agencies across macro, mid, micro, and nano tiers.
  • For macro talent, lead sourcing, negotiations, contracting, content approvals, and performance tracking.
  • Partner with brand marketing, media, social, PR, and e-commerce teams to ensure seamless integration and amplification of influencer programs.
  • Oversee day-to-day influencer agency activities, coordinating earned and paid campaigns from brief through results, in collaboration with in-house teams.
  • Project-manage paid media campaign creator content from ideation to execution and outcomes.
  • Track all program campaigns and influencers within CreatorIQ.
  • Develop program KPIs and deliver monthly and quarterly reporting with actionable insights for future programs.
  • Manage the influencer budget to keep activities on plan, within budget, and timely.
  • Lead influencer communications and planning with internal shopper marketing teams to activate across top customers and channels.
  • Coordinate event launches involving influencers, including invite lists, gifting, onsite coordination, and execution with agency support and management.
  • Brief upcoming product launches and innovations to agencies and contribute creative ideas in brand brainstorms.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in influencer marketing, social media, digital marketing, and/or brand partnerships; preferably in beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or CPG.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to organize multiple inputs and deliver a clear, accurate plan.
  • Business data analytics mindset with the ability to make recommendations based on costs, net revenue, margins, and ROI.
  • Organized self-starter who can collaborate across teams and drive a plan to completion.
  • Resourceful team player who can juggle multiple tasks and hold themselves accountable for results.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills to align a multi-functional influencer team.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling influencer programs that deliver measurable results.
  • Strong project management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience with influencer marketing platforms (CreatorIQ, GRIN, Traackr) and social media analytics tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in influencer marketing, social media, digital marketing, and/or brand partnerships—preferably in the beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or CPG space.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to organize multiple inputs and deliver a clear plan.
  • Business data analytics experience, including recommendations based on costs, net revenue, margins, and ROI.
  • Organized self-starter capable of cross-functional collaboration and driving toward a plan.
  • Resourceful team player who can manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across a multi-functional influencer team.
  • Proven ability to build and scale influencer programs with measurable outcomes.

  • Experience with CreatorIQ, GRIN, Traackr and social media analytics tools.
  • Comfort thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth setting with multiple stakeholders.
