Ampa Events is hiring a Web Designer/Marketing Specialist for an office-only, onsite role in Henrico, VA.

Redesign and maintain a responsive, visually compelling event website
Maintain UX and UI design standards for optimal user experience
Develop and execute marketing strategies
Conduct market research to support marketing planning
Create content for digital marketing and event promotion
Produce graphics and renderings as needed
Collaborate with other departments to support event and marketing goals
Develop and execute social media strategies to increase and drive engagement
Create mood boards and social content aligned with campaigns
Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and opportunities to engage
Coordinate with the sales team to align social media efforts with marketing objectives
Research industry trends and competitor activity to stay ahead
Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media platforms
Participate in installs as needed
Assist with answering phones
Complete other tasks as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, web design, or a related field (preferred)
5 years proven marketing experience, including digital marketing and social media
Advanced knowledge of Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
Rendering and graphics experience
Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus
Strong research skills to stay up to date on industry trends and competitors
Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
Ability to help with installations at night and weekends, as needed
Ability to pick up 50 - 75 lbs without help
