Vice President, Corporate & Channel Marketing
Job Description
Onsite in New Rochelle, NY, this hands-on VP role at Benchmark Education Company LLC brings digital and offline marketing together to drive sales, lead growth, and brand visibility. You will lead a unified go-to-market and customer-lifecycle strategy, powered by marketing analytics and HubSpot operations, while guiding teams across the full channel mix.
What you’ll own
- Build the annual marketing plan and budget, aligning channel goals to company revenue, growth, and brand objectives, and allocating spend based on performance and strategic priority.
- Create a consistent reporting cadence across all channels.
- Translate business goals into a coherent multi-channel go-to-market and customer-lifecycle strategy.
- Present marketing performance and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Lead channel strategy and performance for:
- Ecommerce (site merchandising, conversion optimization, revenue performance). Continuously evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to optimize reach, establish analytics to understand inbound marketing and customer journeys, optimize eComm paths, and refine the process to convert customers.
- Email (campaign strategy, lifecycle/retention programs, deliverability).
- Social media (organic and paid content strategy, community, and brand voice).
- Advertising (digital: newsletter banner, paid search, paid social, plus print media planning and buying).
- PR (media relations and press strategy using BEC web properties, Cision, and PR Newswire).
- Conferences/events (trade show presence, sponsorships, invitations).
- Catalogs (print and digital catalog strategy, production, and circulation).
- Maintain consistent brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across channels and touchpoints.
- Spot and act on cross-channel synergies (for example, aligning catalog drops with email and paid social pushes).
- Oversee marketing operations led by the marketing operations lead, including HubSpot administration, list segmentation, and lead lifecycle management.
- Ensure the marketing database stays clean, well-segmented, and actionable for targeted campaigns.
- Direct marketing analytics by defining KPIs, building reporting dashboards, and ensuring teams have the data to optimize spend and tactics.
- Promote a test-and-learn approach, using data to guide budget shifts and creative/channel decisions.
- Hire, mentor, and manage a team of channel leads and specialists, setting goals and conducting performance reviews.
- Foster collaboration across channels, ensuring work is driven by a common campaign calendar.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and vendors as needed.
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple marketing channels.
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally.
- Demonstrated experience managing both digital and offline/print marketing channels.
- Hands-on HubSpot experience or experience with a comparable marketing automation/CRM platform.
- Strong grasp of marketing analytics, attribution, and using data to drive budget and creative decisions.
- Experience with ecommerce marketing and comfort with conversion and retention metrics.
- Track record managing significant marketing budget, including building, reforecasting, and reporting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, management, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and projects.

Compensation
$175,000 - $250,000 base salary per year. The offered base salary may depend on factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and skill level.
