Sr. Marketing and Communications Specialist
Job Description
Alkami is seeking a Senior Marketing and Communications Specialist to execute integrated marketing and corporate communications initiatives that elevate brand presence, executive visibility, and market reach. The role collaborates across PR, social media, content, and executive communications with cross-functional teams, and offers a remote work arrangement with a yearly salary between USD 92,000 and 115,000. A minimum of 3 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree are required.
Responsibilities
- Support integrated marketing and communications efforts by coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and aligning deliverables with business objectives.
- Lead press release development: draft content, secure approvals, and coordinate distribution across appropriate channels.
- Oversee award programs: identify opportunities, prepare submissions, and track results to boost brand recognition.
- Shape executive social media strategy by contributing to content calendars, drafting posts, and maximizing engagement opportunities.
- Create compelling written content including messaging, copy, and promotional materials to support campaigns and thought leadership.
- Monitor media coverage and social performance by maintaining dashboards, evaluating trends, and recommending improvements.
- Arrange media interviews and speaking opportunities by managing logistics, briefing materials, and stakeholder communications.
- Collaborate directly with vendors supporting the Marketing team.
- Maintain newsroom and digital assets by publishing updates, managing biographies, and ensuring content accuracy.
- Align messaging with Product Marketing, Brand, Demand Generation, Investor Relations, and Internal Communications to support integrated campaigns.
- Manage editorial calendars and communications project plans by prioritizing deliverables and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Support executive communications initiatives by preparing content and coordinating external visibility opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes by evaluating workflows, documenting best practices, and recommending more efficient methods.
