Job Description

The Social Marketing Specialist will represent the parks across owned social media channels and collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop and manage social content. The role focuses on driving awareness, engagement, and revenue while supporting community management, influencer initiatives, content production, brand monitoring, and social reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the parks enthusiastically through all owned social media channels.
  • Partner with the Marketing Team to develop, compile, produce, edit, and oversee social media content that supports awareness, engagement, and revenue goals.
  • Plan, manage, and execute the social media calendar in collaboration with the Marketing Team, aligned to park content and broader brand initiatives.
  • Conceptualize, produce, edit, and present content for distribution on owned platforms.
  • Manage community engagement across social channels and collaborate regularly with guest services.
  • Coordinate with agencies and internal resources to develop creative assets for paid media, digital channels, and in-park use, including leading and organizing both large and small content shoots.
  • Manage and execute influencer program activities to support reach and strong user-generated content (UGC) assets.
  • Assist with creative direction and the development of content brand imagery, including photo, video, and graphic assets, to support key messages across traditional media, social media, and online platforms.
  • Manage and organize the internal asset library.
  • Assist in managing, organizing, and maintaining inventory of camera and production equipment.
  • Monitor online brand presence.
  • Produce strong social reporting and analytics.
  • Partner with PR/Communications to support integrated storytelling.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of social media and content creation experience required.
  • Experience developing content for a growing social audience.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other measurement tools.
  • Intermediate Photoshop and video-editing software experience required (iMovie, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
  • Microsoft Office program experience.
  • Photo and video skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents and periodicals.
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit with proven ability to drive business development and outcomes using digital marketing vehicles.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize diverse, complex projects while meeting stringent deadlines and identifying emerging opportunities.
  • Deep knowledge of the latest social media, media, entertainment, and interactive trends, including the ability to assess and report consumer trends.
  • Editorial mindset aligned to building content consistent with the park and company brand voice, style, and tone.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to adapt communication to different audiences.
  • Ability to work with various departments and within varying organizational structures to support park and company goals.
  • Ability to analyze and present content and social performance.
