Job Description
Senior Segment Marketing Manager role at Granicus leads integrated campaigns to increase brand awareness, demand, sales pipeline, and bookings for the U.S. federal government segment, operating in Washington, DC on a hybrid schedule with a salary range of USD 110,000 to 135,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Create go-to-market strategies aligned with sales priorities and Granicus positioning.
- Act as the brand steward for designated federal segments.
- Partner with Product Marketing to harmonize messaging, proof points, and competitive differentiation.
- Research federal market trends, customer needs, competitors, and procurement patterns to guide campaigns and content.
- Plan and deliver live events, webinars, trade shows, and virtual experiences.
- Execute digital programs across email, paid media, social channels, and content syndication.
- Lead ABM initiatives using intent data, ICP alignment, and buying-stage insights.
- Collaborate with associations, resellers, media, and strategic partners to expand reach.
- Work with Digital and Content teams to improve organic discoverability, engagement, and conversion.
- Ensure landing pages, web content, and calls-to-action reflect segment priorities and drive measurable impact.
- Monitor full-funnel performance, attribution, pipeline velocity, and data accuracy with Revenue Operations and Sales.
- Execute campaigns with rigor, consistency, and compliance with internal processes.
- Own end-to-end performance reporting from inquiries to bookings, including win rates and cost metrics.
- Run structured tests and experiments to optimize performance and ROI.
- Manage the segment marketing budget with accuracy and discipline.
- Optimize investments across channels and programs to maximize return.
- Leverage AI and marketing technology platforms to scale campaigns, personalize engagement, and boost efficiency; drive innovation in automation, analytics, and content production.
Requirements
- 8+ years in B2G or B2B marketing, with SaaS experience preferred.
- Experience generating demand among federal government audiences, including Senior Executive Service personas, agency leaders, and executives in technology, communications, program management, compliance, digital modernization, and customer experience.
- Hands-on proficiency with CRM, marketing automation, ABM, analytics, and workflow tools.
- Strong understanding of the sales funnel, pipeline dynamics, and collaboration across marketing, sales, and BDR teams.
- Strong analytical skills with comfort using dashboards and evaluating conversion, win rates, and campaign performance.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities; effective with lean resources.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as with others.
- Flexible schedule with remote work plus the ability to attend meetings in the DC office at least one day per week.
